Jun 23, 2020 · Hello, I am doing my first RF project. i want the help regrading trace width calculations. I have to design 6 Layer PCB in FR 4 material which my first layer contains RF signals. My layer stack up is like Signal, GND , Inner layer, Power , GND, Bottom. I have query regarding the RF PCB...
RF 50 Ohms Dummy Load PCB Design (High Frequency Ground …
May 13, 2020 · Hi I am a rookie on both RF and PCB design and I am currently trying to do a 50 Ohm 11 Watts Dummy Load project for 100MHz-1GHz. My calculations are done for the load but I have some questions about designing the PCB. I am trying to do it as a microstrip line and as a simple structure of the...
433Mhz RF Module PCB - Electronics Forum (Circuits, Projects and ...
Apr 24, 2017 · Hi, I the attached PCB layouts of both RX and TX which the ebay 433Mhz modules going to hook up. The ebay 433Mhz modules have header pins & I directly insert the modules to my PCB & going to solder.Even the antenna has a header pin.The antenna I'm going to place on my PCB showed label "Antenna PAD".

Mar 15, 2011 · Hi, I recently made a project which had a wireless link on it, but i didn't really understand why i did some of the things i did. Basically, i want to why when you use a PCB for an RF circuit that the other side of the PCB needs to be a ground plane? Also, does it matter if the ground plane is...

Nov 9, 2005 · an RF circuit will know   I just have to remind you that extra leads of the resistor equal inductance/more resistance, unless the solder touches the resistor itself. I am not going to take this idea for RF circuits. I recommend a jump wire myself. In fact, use 2, 3, or even 4 jump wires bunch together.

Oct 17, 2023 · If you look carefully at the 3 ns risetime specs, +/- 0.5 ns skew spec, the > 100 MHz layout of this half-bridge layout, the thermal resistance of this design needs a heatsink = 0.024 K/W and understand what it takes, that it won't take much in deviations to make another design fail miserably. It has no parameters similar to any power Op Amp.
Antenna design for 434 MHz RF reciever module
Aug 26, 2009 · I am using a 434 MHz RF transmitter and a 434 MHz RF receiver to transmit the data between the balloon and a hand-held display unit. I am using a picaxe microcontroller in the balloon unit and another in the display unit. I am reading the temperature using a thermistor with the method discussed here. The maximum range of the transmitter is 500 ft.
Automatic antenna switching circuit using RF switch
Dec 11, 2020 · The easiest way to do this electrically is it find a suitable mechanical switching connector. These are designed so that there are two pins (usually pcb mount) which form a pass-through RF circuit. When an external connector is mated, the connection between the two pcb pins is broken and one pin is instead connected to the external connector.
PCB RF tracking | Electronics Forum (Circuits, Projects and ...
Aug 5, 2007 · RF line tracers for things like 10BT cabling or power cabling are pretty basic things. Would something like that work on a PCB level? Perhaps injecting a very low voltage p-p wave onto a contact point on a PCB and using either direct physical contact with other trace points or perhaps just above...

Jun 14, 2021 · There is no good reason to leave wide gaps between tracks unless it's either for high voltage isolation or high frequency properties / RF stripline impedance etc., none of which apply to that PCB, other than the antenna connection. You could reduce the gaps to around 1mm or a bit less by widening ground and power tracks in the lower areas.
