The Museum’s Brownhoist Crane was built for the Erie Railway originally before passing to the Erie-Lackawanna and finally Conrail. The Erie Railway had 3 of these 250-ton wreck cranes and several smaller ones to keep their 2,000 plus miles of trackage open.
