Roadway Express, Inc. was an American less than truckload (LTL) trucking company. Roadway Express and its holding company, Roadway Corporation, were acquired by logistics holding company Yellow Corporation in 2003, and the parent companies were merged to form Yellow Roadway Corporation, later renamed YRC Worldwide.

Roadway Express, Inc. is the second-largest motor freight carrier company in the United States. It specializes in less-than-truckload (LTL) hauling, principally on two-day or longer trips. The company operates more than 400 shipping terminals in the United States. It also manages shipping facilities in Mexico, and operates a Canadian subsidiary.

Roadway Express entered the trucking industry as a less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier; its first load was transporting tires between Akron and St. Louis. The company was founded with 10 owner-operators. Roadway saw immediate success and soon shipments were moving to Chicago, Houston and Kansas City.

Roadway Express, Inc. purchased this Ford 707E C-Series truck in 1974. Designated unit 23704, this truck served as a pickup and delivery vehicle in and around Lexington, Kentucky. The truck made 13.5 stops per day on average and drivers logged over 120,000 miles without an accident.
