Aug 18, 2000 · At that time, Rollei chose direct film advance via interchangable inserts over an indirect film advance via coupling wheels of a magazine. The advantage of this strategy were (i) fast film loading and exchange, (ii) high motor drive efficiency because of direct coupling between motor and advance wheel, and (iii) cost saving due to less than ...
Rollei P11 slide projector - advice and leads on finding slide ...
May 27, 2008 · The current rollei magazines are for the newer model, so if used on the P11 the number are backward, but no problem in any way apart the fact that are very expensive. You can buy some magazine and use the gepe transfer storage tray (wil be soon discontinued) to store the slides and transfer into the magazine when you need it.
Rollei 6008 Professional vs 6008 Integral - Medium Format
May 17, 1999 · I wish that Rollei will dispense with that silly unique Nicad battery powering the 6008 Integrale which turns all 6008's into doorstops when Rollei decides one day to phase it out, and use AA batteries instead. Fuji did that with its new 680 III so I don't see why Rollei can't.
any experiences with Rollei 3003 - Medium Format - Photo.net
Oct 25, 2004 · The Rollei 2000 WAS extremely undependable. The 3001 and 3003 were much better. They never sold well in the US because they were expensive, the Japanese competition dominated the US market, and Rollei had a poor support organization. Until recently, the 3003 was still available new as a metric camera (for photogrammetry, documentation, etc.).

Leica vs. Rollei?! - Classic Manual Film Cameras - Photo.net
Oct 24, 2007 · Remember that the Rollei format will render the same perspective as a Leica with a 75 or 80mm lens and about the same bulk if you prefer extra lenses. Thus, I would recommend that you follow your accustomed practices with the format that is more familiar. Personally I would prefer the Leica and a 90 but I could also make a good case for the Rollei.

Feb 17, 2003 · I have (2) Rollei P-11 that has been overhauled by Marflex here in New Jersey. I use the Weiss Anti-Newton glass mounts so that no heat distortion will occur. My friend has the P66S and he stated that his machine has a lot of plastic used inits manufacturing. The original lens he has with it was a Rollei 150mmF3.5.
rollei 35s lens problem (maybe) - Accessories - Photo.net
Sep 10, 2004 · After pushing that back where it needs to be all the shutter speeds worked perfect, the slow speeds sound accurate, and the exposures were good. I think it was probably dropped with the lens out, and that bent something inside. I emailed a rollei repairman that is recomended on the global rollei club site.
Rollei B35 question: Did Triotar suffer mainly by comparison?
Mar 31, 2005 · Clearly intended to be the economy Rollei 35 model. Then they thought of improving it by giving it a meter, first selenium (B35) then silicon (35 LED). Regardless the Triotar vs the Tessar or the Sonnar of the top-of-the-line models, there is also an economic shutter that does not provide any slow speeds between 1/30s and B.
