Nov 6, 2024 · Saugeye, sauger, and walleye fishing regulations will change on specific inland Ohio lakes beginning Jan. 1, 2025. In addition, the Ohio Wildlife Council approved adding a 15-inch minimum length requirement for walleye, saugeye, and sauger at Mosquito Creek Lake and LaDue Reservoir.

Nov 18, 2019 · Tried sauger fishing below markland Sunday . Got 3 ,4 cats and snagged 2 carp. Kind of new at this down there. I was closer to the dam than they want you to be but too much current out from it. Saw a few other boats. Anyone done any good there yet?

Feb 2, 2013 · The last time I hit the Mon(last week), I got a 15 inch sauger in about 45 minutes (You can do a lot better on sauger than I do, I fish bigger baits since I like slightly bigger fish and generally I'm targeting 17-20 inch walleye, if you're willing to catch 12-inch and smaller sauger and small walleye, they're a lot easier to find.)

Dec 16, 2012 · There should be some awesome eye fishing around there,,,, every little feeder creek should have eyes in them this time of year,,, they'll be hitting jigs and bait just before dark. We usually use 1/4-3/8oz jigs with #1 or 1/0 hooks will work. Heavy river flow sometimes calls for 1/2oz jigs with up to 3/0 hooks and a larger 4" or 5" twister tail.
