So, I’m wondering if it’s still relevant or good. I’m prioritising audio quality for listening to songs such as hip hop, electro and also vocal clarity.

Feb 17, 2019 · XM3 has better sound isolation and mild improvement in the ANC department. XM3 of course has USB C & associated USB C charging capabilities. XM2 has pleather textured earcups vs XM3 plastic XM3 Airplug Jack is not as nice as the XM2 version (purchased in Japan, ymmv) XM3 Case is made of canvas vs XM2 pleather.

Apr 29, 2021 · SONY support confirmed need to replace after asking me to verify that (a) unit was updated to most current firmware and (b) reset didn't work. They are sending a shipping label for return. I kinda feel like the return process would have gone faster through Amazon directly; at least they would send me a replacement right away.

Jun 7, 2018 · Boot pc. Turn on bluetooth. Search for new bluetooth devices through win 10. Press the power button of your Sony WH-1000xm2 for 7 (!) sec, so the sony headphone tells you 'pairing mode' when powering on. The Sony headphone will now be detected by the win10 pc as a headphone. It works.

May 22, 2018 · The Sony has a bit more of that “pressure” effect than the Bose, making the Bose slightly more comfortable in that regard. I haven’t flown with either, but I’ll be flying with the Sony this weekend. Conclusion: I’m keeping the Sony and returning the Bose. Bonus B&W PX comment: I tried the B&W PX a few weeks back.

Mar 1, 2019 · Personally I prefer more fine-tuning of the sound so I use a 20-band equalizer in Equalizer Buddy. This way I can also use the Priority on Sound Quality setting and LDAC. Fyi I like a neutral and realistic sound signature. I'll leave my settings down here if anyone wants to try: Hz: db. 31: -3.09;
