There are also “Space storms” which sort of work as the AoE version of the space cutting attack, often portrayed as a sort of tornado of space blades that shreds everything in an area.

And yes, Ouranos, does mean sky/heaven (also the great-grandfather to the Olympian Gods), but that was essentially the closest thing the Greeks had to an all-comprehensive deity for "space".

Like I said, I think we merely are using different meanings for the same phrase. I can't really tell you that your definition of "space magic" is wrong and mine is right, and vice-versa.

For explainable space magic that can be some what explained or reasoned, I’d lean for astromancer, for the unexplainable, or less known magics I would lean cosmomancer.
