Jan 12, 2019 · I note that on my pc SwiftKey didn't work for all the keyboards variations. For example i usually use the full keyboard, i.e. the one with the numbers at the top and escape key to the side but swiftkey doesn't work for this keyboard. At the top left of the keyboard you can change which keyboard variation you use. Try using the first one.

Aug 13, 2023 · I was hesitant to use SwiftKey because of my experience with it on the Z Fold - where it could only have one keyboard mode between both the inner and outer displays. Well, it turns out that the Pixel Fold doesn't work this way. SwiftKey allows me to use the split keyboard on the inner screen, and the full unbroken keyboard on the outer screen.

I enjoy the SwiftKey autocorrect but the keys are really hard to type on. I find gboard a lot better. With SwiftKey, I keep missing all the keys and end up typing a complete mess even with autocorrect. Gboard is great and accurate when you hit the keys. Buf the autocorrect really sucks. Im really confused now which keyboard I should use.

SwiftKey strictly only shows the Most common punctuation marks when holding "period", while Gboard mashes in a combination of a LOT more symbols and punctuation. I imagine some might consider this a "pro" for gboard, while I strongly prefer how SwiftKey handles it, so I'm leaving this one as a "neutral" difference, in the Gboard Pro's

May 19, 2023 · Right click on your taskbar, and pick Taskbar Settings. In the window that appears, under Touch Keyboard, change it to always. This will put a little keyboard icon near your clock. You can then open that at anytime, and use your mouse to type, including dragging it to do the swipe typing function.
