Course I have to admit, that today I fed and loaded a 4 way, which means i sent power on a white to a 3 way, but I sent the load on the white to the other 3 way.

Find the receptacle that is switched and change the white wire going to the switch into a neutral and the black wire going to he switch into a hot .

Jan 4, 2009 · loop the switch leg, wrap it around the hot wire once or twice, wrap the common around the wrapped travelers, move on to the next job. Any trained electrician should be able to recognize this in a matter of seconds when they trim it out. Seems like some journeyman get bent out of shape over the smallest things...but to each his own.
