  1. Tesseract glow and how to use it? : r/Necrontyr - Reddit

Mar 21, 2021 · It's a technical paint, helps to think of it more like a glaze. Put down a base layer of white underneath it, and it will POP brightly. Same with the eyes and gun linings, a little white first and then POW, hit it with the tesseract glow. Make sure you shake it like a Polaroid picture first, the glow likes to separate and settle in the pot.

  2. New Necron Painting Guide (with Tesseract Glow paint ) - Reddit

Jul 14, 2020 · Was pretty hype for Tesseract glow when I heard about it, and... ultimately not too impressed. It looks fantastic on orbs, but it looks like just a straight downgrade from the old method (caliban, warpstone, moot, yriel/pallid wych) when applied to blades and surfaces. Would like to see how the two methods look side-to-side.

  3. Tesseract Glow comparison with Warp Lightning and Hexwraith …

Tesseract glow especially is a clever paint, as you can see in the example the paint actually contains two main pigments, a heavier green that settles in the recesses and a lighter yellow-green that will tint the white undercoat.

  4. Looking for paints similar to Citadel "Tesseract Glow" - Reddit

Mar 8, 2022 · Tesseract Glow is some kind of a special wash or contrast paint. It's not a fluorescent color. It's a mix of a green and a yellow wash that somehow stay separated. The green part usually flows in the deeper parts while the yellow part creates a smooth yellowish cover on the higher parts. The highlighted yellowish parts create the glow effect.

  5. Tesseract Glow comparison with Warp Lightning and Hexwraith …

Tesseract glow looks less, uh, glowy and more like a badly mixed pot of the old Goblin Green (which used to get a scum of yellow on top). I'm sure lots of people will do amazing things with it, but just from a one-and-done attempt to create a glow effect, Hexwraith flame seems to …

  6. Ditched the Tesseract Glow and used Moot Green/contrast paints …

Oct 30, 2022 · For orbs I still use Tesseract Glow with a dot of phalanx yellow on top. Both with a white coat underneath. Tesseract glow tends to clump up, shaker balls with a lot of elbow grease will mix it up good, just don't be shy to show the pot who's boss. Otherwise I believe a vortex shaker would do the trick too, but those are a bit more expensive.

  7. Tesseract Glow Eye Lens Test : r/Warhammer40k - Reddit

Jul 28, 2020 · Tesseract Glow seems tailor-made for an easy, battle-ready, glowing green hellfire aesthetic. Only two steps and I feel that these are the best eyes I've done for warp-tainted Word Bearers. Reply reply

  8. Advice needed pls! Tesseract Glow, Hexwraith flame or ... - Reddit

Feb 13, 2022 · Tesseract glow is green / yellowy green, and hexwraith flame is green / white - there's loads of comparison pictures if you search that'll give you a good idea of the differences in finishes.

  9. blue/red alternative for tesseract glow : r/minipainting - Reddit

Nov 19, 2021 · Much better than that tesseract glow and come in plenty of colours. Green stuff worlds is the best I've used. Vallejo can turn a bit sludgy if left for too long. Both are good enough for brushwork. With inks, you kinda need to airbrush to get a glow effect with them, but you can use them for a very vivid colour if it's just a lens.
