Feb 5, 2014 · Rocking out to UAPP on my Note 2 + Leckerton UHA-6S.MKII. Fantastic player. The one feature that I'd really like to see added: a better player widget. The current one is all fine and dandy, but I'd like to see one with both forward *and* back control as well as a window for to display current album art.

Feb 5, 2014 · Longtime UAPP user here, relatively new to head-fi and appreciating all the great help and information shared here! Jan 27, 2020 · But reading through various posts here at Head-Fi, it seems that the player UAPP seems to be the most popular with regards to phone>dac usage. Now I'm a bit confused as to why. I A>B'd the two back-to-back, and found them to sound almost identical, but with UAPP suffering thinner, less weighty bass with the two EQ'd as identically as i could.

Audio: Tidal Native VS UAPP : r/TIdaL - Reddit
Aug 1, 2021 · Personally I think UAPP is great and worth it, I use tidal for Android auto, wireless earbuds at the gym and other stuff, when I sit down to really listen and sink my teeth in I use UAPP, because you get tidal access, Qobuz access and you can import anything else locally, like I buy FLAC music from HDtracks and import it and bam, just works.
Question about UAPP : r/audiophilemusic - Reddit
Nov 1, 2023 · I know UAPP has a unique driver which can allow supported phones to use the phones internal DAC properly. Apple music doesn't and music will be resampled to 48khz. My phone, Samsung a52s 5g seems to be supported and it sounds great but I prefer the sound from my Hidizs s9 pro.

Feb 5, 2014 · It may be that UAPP interprets paths differently than the other players. On my various devices, I have a Playlists folder in the Music folder - at the same level as the Genre folders. So, my Playlists have paths that are relative to the Playlists folder -

Jul 25, 2022 · This change will even persist even after you close UAPP and start using other apps. It only resets once the dongle is unplugged. Hope this helps a few people. UAPP is great anyway as it's one of the only apps with actual bitperfect output support on android, has Tidal/Qobuz support, built in EQ options etc. Kinda a must-have for audiophiles really
