Ultrakill is a fast-paced first-person shooter with an emphasis on movement and stylish techniques. The player must make their way through an interpretation of Dante's layers of Hell, with three acts each made up of three layers being divided into multiple levels.

As of Ultra_Revamp update, 1-E has by far the highest style requirements, needing an incredible 40,000 points for a P-Rank. 1-4 has the lowest style requirement, only needing a measly 600 points for a P-Rank. The skybox of each level and cyber grind is constantly rotating with the exception being 7-3 where the sky box doesn't rotate.
