Images are viewed as cross sections and often sagittal (side views). Some places include coronal (frontal) too. CT urography also includes a set of 12-15 minute delayed images which are then reformatted in 3D. See picture.

CT showed Right upper pole cyst measuring 3.2 2.3 cm RIGHT RENAL SIMPLE CYST (BOSNIAK CATEGORY ONE). Is this concerning? Will I need follow up? They have been watching my kidneys as I have cysts. My ct urogram results. l have lesion on sacrum.
