Jun 21, 2019 · I built up the NS1 with Campy Super Record EPS, Quarq with Absolute Black chainrings, ENVE 4.5ar with Schwalbe Pro One 28mm tubeless tires and the really nice fully integrated Ventum bars. This thing looks amazing and it’s incredibly light for being a disc brake bike with wide/deep rims, just under 16lbs.

Sep 23, 2020 · Just got a reply from Ventum: A Large NS1 frame weight 1020 grams. An XL frame is 1050 grams. The uncut NS1 fork weights 415 grams. Our integrated, one-piece bar/stem cockpit weight 350 grams in a size 42cm wide bar/100mm stem.

Feb 22, 2013 · Ventum sucks. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Also confirming that Cube's Shimano direct mount rear derailleur hanger 10063, EAN 4250589462782, is compatible with the 2019-2022 Ventum NS1. It is also called the 63 X12 or #63 dropout. Jul 20, 2013 · First (and as already stated...), I have no affiliation with Ventum (financial or otherwise); just a very happy customer (I have both the Ventum One tri bike and now the NS1 road bike). And it's not my first bike... Currently own a Pinarello F8, Parlee Z5, Look 595 (and the Ventum One tri bike).

Oct 5, 2016 · I believe NS1 headset bearings are 36x45deg 40x52x7mm. “55” ACR bearings are 36x45eg 40x52x8mm. Cane Creek, Enduro, etc. make 36x45deg 40x52x6.5mm bearings. The issue may be that ACR headset bearings are generally recessed by around 2mm, and the NS1 bearings probably sit more flush.

So I recently went through a whole ordeal with buying a first generation Ventum NS1 and I was impressed by how badly it turned out. Nov 8, 2024 · At 1.47:1, your example of a 58cm Aethos is already teetering on the edge of being an endurance bike. Compare that to the equivalent size Ritte Esprit at 1.437:1 or Ventum NS1 at 1.444:1. Compare it to the Lapierre Xelius DRS at a whopping 1.398:1 for an XL.

Despite the questionable brand name (where/how did they come up with Fezzari?) it came down to value for my money and stock availability. Trying to stick to a budget that included a possible wheel upgrade was important to me.
