Dec 6, 2020 · I know in Benin Vodoun they have a form of Ifa called "Fa". In traditional Ifa before making any offering to Orisha we must use the Opon Ifa and do a processes called "ebo riru" to make sure offerings will be accepted (sent to heaven/orun).

Then there is Haitian vodou, which is influenced by Catholicism (hence when ceremonies are held, Catholic/Christian prayers are said to open ceremony). They serve the old spirits as well as they "newer" ones born in Haiti.
