Ymir, the original Jötunn, was the first entity in the Nine Realms in the God of War Norse era. Birthed from venom drops, Ymir embodied pure creation and chaos. All gods, humans, and beasts originated from Ymir's flesh. Odin, however, opposed Ymir and killed him, using Ymir's torn flesh to create the world.

After defeating Hraezlyr during the journey mission “Inside the Mountain” and getting the shock arrows,, you’ll come across a sap-covered room. The shatter crystal pod is located in a nearby altar, worshipped by reavers. Destroy the reavers and take the shatter crystal. Throw it at the sap and detonate it with Atreus’ shock arrows.
