Feb 8, 2024 · I used a Samsung A53 5g previously and never had an issue. Also, I can receive emojis from my friend's phone, and my work phone, which are both Samsung phones. When my girlfriend texts my work phone from her iPhone, there's also no issues. She texts using Google Voice and the iPhone messaging app, and both fail to send emojis.

Feb 8, 2024 · Within Google Messages settings, under the Advanced tab, near the bottom of the message settings, is an option button to "show IPhone reactions as emojis" . Set Google Messages as your default message app, turn on this option, and all should be good with your girlfriend's emojis within messages.
