Click the Add button in the top right to add more character tokens. Click the Characters and Monsters starter set and select the tokens you would like or select Add All to add all the tokens. Back in the Scene you can now drag and drop a Goblin token from your dock.

When you first open up a fresh scene, your List will be blank. To get some units on the list, you will need to drag the tokens into the scene and then right-click that token. This will open up the context menu, and from there you can click 'Add to Initiative'.

Use Effect Tokens — Create tokens in the shape of auras, spell effects or blast radius for spells, powers, or special weapons. Make the size setting of these tokens so when you drag them onto the battle mat they are already the correct size and flag it as a prop or vehicle token.

Create a new scene based on a map you have in your collection. Drop all the PC Tokens you need and fill in their info (or create custom statblocks for your PC). Drop an Ogre and Hobgoblin Token on scene and connect them with their statblocks (this will be done automatically for all statblocks where a matching entry is found)
