Just outside of New York City in Yonkers, New York, you'll find an infamously large slice of pie at the destination pizzeria known as Pizza Barn. As featured on the Travel Channel's Biggest Places to Pig Out show, the nearly 50-year-old establishment has become an internet sensation since launching its 2-foot slice of New York-style pizza in 2016.

The largest pizza measures 1,296.72 m² (13,957.77 ft²) and was achieved by Airrack (USA) in Los Angeles, California, USA, on 19 January 2023.

For eight years, Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria in Los Angeles held the record for the largest commercially available and deliverable pizza in the world. The Giant Sicilian is a 54” square, thick crust pizza that feeds up to 70 people.

The giant pizza was made using 13,653 pounds (6,192.8kg) of dough, 4,948 pounds (2,244.375kg) of sweet marinara sauce, over 8,800 pounds (3991.6 kg) of cheese and around 630,496 pieces of pepperoni.
