May 28, 2015 · I got to looking online at other klr 600 carbs and the one i have, had a cap on 2 vents. One on the front and one on the side.. Well on the pictures i seen of people's carbs didnt have a cap on the side vent. I pulled the cap off and now she runs steady. But now when i try to rev it up sometimes it spits a sputters!

Aug 8, 2013 · The 600 is the same, except that there is a boss with a banjo fitting, leading to a tube that goes over to the exhaust side. The left intake journal is fed directly from the oil gallery, the right side through the cam.

Mar 23, 2015 · KL600-A1 is the actual Model number for a 1984 KLR600 kick-start ONLY model. So the difference is, actual factory model number vs 'nickname'.

Oct 31, 2023 · Hello, In my klr 600 which has 24k km i hear metalic noise when engine is slowing down, and reaches about 2k rpm. Could it be a worn timing chain? Or could it be the balancer chain because I have a repaired doohickey installed? The Engine was cold, when i was taking photo Thanks for help :D

In the uk the 600 was sold up to 1990 the 600 i bought was a spanish import on the V5 document (pink slip) its say,s declared manufactured 1992 i dont know much about the history of the klr but these could have been sold for a few years longer in spain.
