Aug 15, 2018 · The VSSK uses subsonic heavy bullets, similar to the SP-5 and SP-6 rounds used by Vintorez. So for your mid-range or long-range targets, use the scope reticule as a rough guide and aim higher than your target's head. With some practice, you can drop targets from far away.

Sep 18, 2022 · VSSK is silenced, has a 5 round capacity of 12.7x55. Which are both twice more expensive than the Barrett. It weighs 7.8kg. Which is better? I'm wondering cause a Monolith graciously gifted me a VSSK after a brief encounter in the Red Forest, and I don't know whether to keep it or take the heavier Barret instead.

Jul 9, 2021 · VSSK Vykhlop: This is quite big boy of snipers, and having a 12.7 round is quite the big damage booster. However, it is even more of a niche weapon than usual snipers, as it uses such a heavy and expensive cartridge. But this does not mean it is entirely useless.

Aug 29, 2022 · 12,7x55 - VSSK Vykhlop (Sniper): For sniping situations where headshots aren't nessecarily a factor. I have only used this to clear out Monolith from outside the CNPP area with great success. The ammo cost/availability slots this ammo exlusively into sniper-category in my opinion. Your other option is the Barrett M82 which is almost twice as heavy.
